Our Summer Internships will give you a unique insight into the world of banking. Even more importantly, they’ll give you a real understanding of RBS, our plans, our people and our caring culture.
What you’ll do
You won’t have to wait to start shaping our business. We’ll give you real responsibility and get you involved in live work projects straight away. Be prepared to contribute from day one.
At the same time, you’ll be learning every day – from your manager, from your buddy, from being in a fast-moving and supportive office environment. In your induction, you’ll learn the basics of the financial industry. Then you’ll get down to business, learning how your business area works and how our different teams operate. At the end of it all, you should have an informed idea of where you might fit in.
You’ll develop some vital skills along the way. Working on live business assignments will hone your project management and presentation skills, while all the socialising and meetings will make you a better communicator and networker. Plus you’ll enhance your team-working abilities through the charity fundraising challenges we hold for our interns.
